The Book Is Out Now — The Wounded Healer is Here.

Meet Dr. Heather

In 2018, my world cracked open.

My mother, my last immediate family member and my best friend, died.

Her loss was not just grief. It was a rupture. A breaking. A beginning.

What followed was an 8-year journey into the depths of healing, awakening, and transformation.

I walked through:

• Profound grief and identity loss
• Eating disorder recovery and inpatient rehabilitation
• I began hearing things that were not mine. My knowing became stronger. That was the beginning of everything.

This path led me across the world, to Ireland, Maui, Greece, and inward, into the places I had spent a lifetime avoiding.

My Training

I am a doctorally prepared registered nurse (DNP, MS, RN, NEA-BC).

My foundation is clinical, evidence-based, and grounded in science.

But my work did not stop there.

I have trained and studied in:

  • Past life regression training with Dr. Brian Weiss, M.D., at the Omega Institute
  • Nervous system regulation
  • Somatic-informed healing
  • Attachment theory and reparenting
  • Reiki and energy work
  • Anointed Priestess and sacred feminine ceremonial guide

WHAT IT MEANS TO BE A PRIESTESS

In addition to my clinical training and healing work, I also hold the role of Priestess.

A Priestess is a woman who has been called, trained, and initiated into sacred service.

She stands as a bridge between the divine and the human, rooted in intuition,
inner knowing, and devotion.

Her role is not to stand above others, but to be good medicine for the world.

This dimension of my work is woven into the spaces I hold, bringing depth,
presence, and reverence to the healing process.

My Mission

I know what this work takes because I did it myself.

No one pushed me. No one created the path for me.

I had to take off the mask. Stop hiding. Face what I had been carrying.

That is the raw truth of healing, and somewhere inside you, you already know it.

If you are ready to stop hiding, I will help you create your path.

There will be tears. There will be discomfort. There will be things that surface that are painful.

I will be right there with you.

And if you fall, I will help you get back up.

Why This Work Matters

This work is not theoretical for me.
It is lived, earned, and continually embodied.

I know what it is to lose yourself.
And I know what it takes to come back.

That is why I do this work, so other women don’t have to walk through the fire alone.

Where Science Meets Soul

At the core of my work is my proprietary approach;
The Through the Fire Method, a trauma-informed, integrative path to deep transformation.

While the method itself is not something I teach publicly,
its essence is woven into every space I hold.

When I’m not holding space for others, I am often in nature, in ceremony, or in quiet moments of reflection that continue to deepen my own work.

If something in my story resonates,
it may be because something
in you is ready.

WORDS OF INSPIRATION

‘Wounded healers, they are not born, and they are not made. They create themselves through conquering adversity, trial, and error, and extreme pain and suffering. They conquer fear, and find a way to speak their truth even when they are afraid. In doing so, they shine light for others who are lost and feeling alone, and in return, their inner light ignites with renewed purpose, a purpose greater than they ever could have imagined.’

Melanie Koulouris, Author and Mother
